In which cases (SAR, IUU, drug trafficking) can SHARE.IT add value to maritime security operations?

Christopher Jilo IPU - Kenya Information Liaison Office to the Regional Maritime Information Fusion Center RMIFC

SHARE.IT is able to ideally add value to all spectrums of maritime events, whether you’re speaking of illegal fishing, whether you’re talking about drug trafficking or illegal migration, it is able to absorb all those requirements. However there are those that it works perfectly and the whole idea is to be able to send and receive information from different Information Fusion Centres (IFCs), whether they’re in different geographical locations. Because we do recognise that maritime threats are intercontinental, they are transnational, so SHARE.it is able to ensure that this communication and effective data transfer between partners.
